Privacy Policy

DreamJourney keeps this simple. We collect as little as possible, we explain why, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

If you ask us to send you a route, we store your email address, the city and language you chose, and the page you asked from. If you tell us about a city you would like us to cover, we receive your email and that city so we can reply. If you contact us directly, we keep the message so we can reply. When you create a route, we process the trip details and travel preferences you enter, such as your city, dates, pace, and interests, to assemble and personalize your guide. When you buy a guide, we receive your order details from our Merchant of Record, which include the email you used, which guide you bought, and the country needed for tax. We do not receive or store your full card number. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used, without building profiles of individual visitors.

Why we use it

We use your email to send the route you asked for and, once you confirm your address, occasional travel notes about that city and DreamJourney. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link, and one click stops them. If you only tell us about a new city, we use your email to reply and for nothing else. We use your order details to deliver your guide, to support you if something goes wrong, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not send a stream of marketing you did not ask for.

Payments

Payments are processed by Gumroad, who acts as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. They handle the transaction, your card data, and the collection and remittance of taxes, through their own payment partners. Their handling of your payment information is governed by their own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your email at any time. Write to info@dreamjourney.travel and we will delete it promptly. You can also ask what information we hold about you, and we will tell you. We may need to keep basic purchase records where the law requires it.

Other services we rely on

Our emails are sent through Brevo, which stores your email address and the record of your confirmation for us. Our site is hosted on Vercel, and orders are kept in a Supabase database. These providers process data only to deliver the service, and we do not authorize them to use it for their own marketing.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the site to work, together with limited, privacy-respecting analytics where enabled. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
